Privacy Policy
CoachSync is a performance planning and tracking app for athletes and coaches. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
1. Introduction
RG Soft ("we", "us", "our") operates CoachSync, a mobile application for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use CoachSync.
By using CoachSync, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account data: email address, display name, profile photo, and authentication identifiers from sign-in providers (e.g. Google, Apple).
- Onboarding data: role (coach or athlete), sport, training frequency, goals, and preferences you provide during setup.
- Planner and task data: goals, planner entries, tasks, notes, and completion status.
- Nutrition data: meal logs, foods, recipes, macro targets, hydration, barcode lookups, and meal photos you upload.
- Health and body composition: data you enter manually or sync from connected health services (e.g. Apple Health, Health Connect), including recovery metrics and InBody-style body composition entries.
- Coach-athlete data: coach profiles, athlete profiles, collaboration requests, training locations, and messages between connected users.
- AI interactions: prompts, context, and generated responses when you use CoachSync AI features.
- Support communications: messages you send to our support team.
- Usage diagnostics: crash reports and performance data to improve app stability.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve CoachSync features.
- Personalize your experience based on onboarding and usage.
- Enable coach-athlete collaboration and messaging.
- Process AI-assisted planning, nutrition estimates, and summaries.
- Send notifications you have enabled (e.g. task reminders, messages).
- Process subscriptions and in-app purchases through Apple and Google.
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Use.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Authentication and Account Data
CoachSync supports sign-in with supported authentication providers. We receive basic profile information from those providers to create and manage your account. We do not store your provider passwords.
5. Training, Nutrition, Health, Planner, and Collaboration Data
Data you create in CoachSync — including training logs, nutrition entries, health metrics, planner items, tasks, chat messages, and coach profile information — is stored locally on your device and, when you are signed in, synchronized to cloud services so you can access it across devices.
6. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers
CoachSync includes AI features that process user-provided prompts and relevant app context to generate responses, summaries, meal estimates, and planning suggestions. When you use these features, relevant data may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing.
AI outputs are for informational and planning purposes only. They are not medical, nutritional, or professional coaching advice.
7. Local Storage and Cloud Storage
CoachSync uses local device storage for offline access and cloud storage (including Firebase services) for signed-in users. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections where supported.
8. Health Data and Device Integrations
If you enable health integrations, CoachSync may read or write selected health metrics with your explicit permission. You can revoke access at any time through your device settings. We do not use health data for advertising.
9. Third-Party Services
CoachSync uses third-party services including:
- Firebase (authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Apple App Store / Google Play (payments)
- AI service providers (for AI features)
- Google Calendar (optional calendar sync)
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
10. Notifications
With your permission, CoachSync may send push notifications for tasks, messages, coach requests, and other app events. You can disable notifications in your device or app settings.
11. Data Sharing and Coach-Athlete Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only:
- With connected coaches or athletes when you enable collaboration features.
- With service providers who assist in operating CoachSync.
- When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Coach-athlete sharing is controlled by your collaboration settings and connection status.
12. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

14. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. Children's Privacy
CoachSync is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of CoachSync after changes constitutes acceptance.
